We respect the rights of songwriters and publishers. If you believe a song in the Compose Library infringes your copyright, send a notice containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
• The URL of the song on this site.
• Your name, address, email, and phone number.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices

If your song was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including the removed URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court. We may restore content 10-14 business days after a valid counter-notice unless the claimant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright will be terminated.
